Stage 5 at Black Island is our largest stage at this complex, offering a total floor space of 1531 sq/m and a cyclorama. The stage features full drive-on access and multiple production rooms, including an Art Director’s office, Hair & Make-up, and a Shower room.

Production Space

Stage 5 offers dedicated production spaces, including specially configured hair and makeup areas with a shower room. Additionally, there are ample production and Art Director’s offices that provide a conducive environment for focused work away from the set. Set builders can access workbenches and paint sink areas.

Catering

Island Studios offers world-class catering services from our talented team of chefs. We use fresh, locally sourced produce delivered daily, and our expertly prepared, delicious dishes are always a hit with hungry crews.

Plant & Machinery

We provide the option to use high-access plant machinery, such as scissor lifts and forklifts, on the stage. Our experienced stagehands are highly trained in this area, and we are dedicated to offering comprehensive support for your production.

On-Site Hire

We provide a range of on-site rental options at all our facilities. If you require any last-minute additions to streamline your production, we offer trestle tables, directors’ chairs, and steel decks. Lighting equipment is available for exclusive hire from Panalux and Direct Digital.
