Island Studios recently welcomed the Fridge Raiders team to Black Island Studios, where their latest commercial, “Chicken for the Road?”, was brought to life on Stage 5.
True to Fridge Raiders’ irreverent tone, the spot captures a perfectly observed moment of impulsive decision-making — the familiar internal debate that ends with grabbing a chicken snack for the journey. Sharp performances, tight timing and confident visual storytelling were key to landing the humour, all supported by the controlled environment of a purpose-built stage.

Stage 5 offered the scale and flexibility needed to execute the shoot efficiently, with full control over lighting, sound and camera movement. The spacious layout allowed the production team to move seamlessly between setups, keeping energy high while ensuring consistency across takes.
